Bevan’s Journal

Bevan’s Journal

“T’is Bevan here. Have completed a year of mission study going into communities including aboriginal, East Timor and African ( Mwandi). It has been my conclusion that there are no bigger needs anywhere in the world than those at your own back door, where ever that might be. The issues are not ones of need but of ability to meet those needs. Meeting the needs of my community seems so difficult. Might I say at this juncture that Fiona makes it very easy to feel useful and comfortable in a third world environment. It wasn’t at all difficult to feel useful at Mwandi. If you want to be part of an institution which is taking the lowest class of a community and giving it the opportunities of our upper middle class then climb aboard and come on over and give her a hand. If agriculture is more your scene then I am sure Rury would love to talk.

God’s power be with you where ever he takes you.”
